Since 2008, WPC has donated over $155,000 to organizations helping women and children in need move toward self-sufficiency and stability.
WPC supports select organizations through fundraising efforts, volunteering, advocacy, and proceeds from our periodic fundraisers. We also maintain an investment portfolio with stocks chosen by our group and funded exclusively with member dues. Earnings are used to further our mission in many ways, including by donating to charities across the Seattle area.
WPC is a 501(c)(3) exempt organization. It is incorporated in the State of Washington as a non-profit organization and is registered with the Washington Secretary of State as a Charitable Solicitations Fund.
Quarterly giving
Every quarter, WPC donates to two non-profit organizations, nominated by our members. These organizations can be local, national, or international, as long as they align with our mission by serving women and children in need.
Scholarship program
Every year, WPC awards higher education scholarship to women in our community pursuing higher education at a college, university, community college, or vocational school. Applications are open each spring.
